Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas, the latest branded residence from Wyndham, has opened along the seafront of Marina Zeas in Piraeus, Greece, marking the company’s expanded presence in the Attica region.
Strategic Waterfront Location
Situated at one of the most prominent waterfront locations in Attica, the property benefits from Piraeus’s role as a major gateway to the Greek islands. The Port of Piraeus, the busiest in Europe and handling over 20 million passengers annually, has driven growing demand for high-quality accommodation catering to travelers before and after island stays.
This development is the first internationally branded serviced apartment offering in the city, spanning two adjacent eight-storey buildings with 72 suites and residences, including 28 with sea and marina views. Designed for both short and extended stays, it reflects the rising trend of branded residences that blend residential living with global hospitality service standards.
Accommodations and Amenities
The property offers a range of accommodations from guest rooms and suites to fully equipped apartments with kitchenettes and living areas. Premium options include a sea-view suite featuring a private plunge pool, terrace and panoramic views across Marina Zeas and the Aegean Sea.
Guests can access amenities such as a fitness centre, meeting room and personalized services including transfers, wellness treatments and concierge support. The development, designed by architect Jean-Pierre Heim in collaboration with Bletsas Architectural Studio, represents an investment of more than €25 million by DKG Development.
Broader Development Agreement
The project is part of a broader non-exclusive agreement between Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and DKG Development to develop 12 hotels across Greece. Vassilis Themelidis, senior regional director for South & East Europe at Wyndham, noted that the arrival of Wyndham Residences in Piraeus reflects a broader shift in travel and real estate, where short stays, extended stays and residential living increasingly overlap.
