TFE Hotels has advanced three seasoned operational chiefs, opening fresh roles for veteran staff from the business itself. Sid Singh is now Area General Manager NSW and Acting General Manager of Adina Darling Harbour. Singh stepped up from Cluster General Manager to Area General Manager NSW.
Singh led multi-brand hotel operations through the post-COVID recovery, oversaw major capital expenditure and compliance projects, and contributed to business-wide initiatives spanning people technology, cluster reservations, and AI-enabled operational reviews. Over the past 16 years, he has also helped develop future leaders and strengthen TFE Hotels’ internal talent pipeline.
Leadership Changes at TFE Hotels
Longstanding TFE executive Jay Hore, Area General Manager ACT and Southern NSW, will add Adina Wollongong to his portfolio. With more than 18 years’ experience at TFE, Hore has led multiple properties, developed high-performing teams and built strong relationships with owners and stakeholders.
Senior Director of Operations ANZ, Tish Nyar, said, “These promotions recognise the significant contribution Sid and Jay have made to TFE Hotels, and the leadership they have demonstrated throughout their careers with us.” Nyar added, “We wish them every success in their expanded portfolios.”
Shaarn Letele has been appointed General Manager of Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour, bringing with him more than 17 years’ experience with TFE Hotels. Letele has worked across multiple brands during his tenure, including Travelodge Hotel Wellington, Adina Sydney Central and Vibe Hotel North Sydney.

New Appointments at JW Marriott Auckland
JW Marriott Auckland has welcomed two senior appointments, with Lance Ourednik joining as Food and Beverage Manager and Vina Ho as Conference and Event Manager. Ourednik brings extensive experience across Auckland’s hotel and restaurant food and beverage sector, while Ho has 11 years of international hospitality and events experience.
Ourednik has built a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences, with his commitment to excellence recognised during his time at Ampersand Eatery. Ho brings an approach grounded in careful planning, genuine teamwork and close attention to detail.
Rosewood Appoints Cluster Director of Talent and Culture
Rosewood New Zealand has appointed Jason Viljoen as Cluster Director of Talent and Culture, across Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, Rosewood Kauri Cliffs and Rosewood Matakauri. Viljoen will lead the development and execution of talent and culture strategies across the New Zealand portfolio.
Viljoen brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to the role, starting his career as Night Receptionist to progressing as General Manager before transitioning into Talent and Culture leadership. In his new role, he will work closely with leadership teams across Rosewood New Zealand to further strengthen the employee experience.
As part of the changes at TFE Hotels, Senior Director of Operations ANZ Tish Nyar will increase his remit to focus more on strategic operational activities and alignment across the ANZ region. Ajay Vaid, Regional General Manager of VIC, TAS and SA, will have his regional remit expanded to include Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
