Chapitre Six will open its Bourbon Hotel in Courchevel 1850 on December 18, 2026, expanding the French hospitality brand into the French Alps. The property features 28 rooms and three suites, offering direct ski-in, ski-out access to Les Trois Vallées. Located in Courchevel’s Golden Triangle, the hotel combines ultra-stylish design with modern amenities. Bourbon Hotel marks Chapitre Six’s arrival in Courchevel 1850, offering an intimate 31-room that redefines alpine luxury. This boutique offering blends cutting-edge design with the serenity of the alpine environment.
Design and Interior Aesthetic
Bourbon Hotel departs from traditional alpine chalet aesthetics, adopting a bold, design-led approach. The space channels a private London club atmosphere, creating an intimate alpine retreat. Artistic direction by Pierre-Alexis Guinet, known for work with Balenciaga and Hermès, enhances the hotel’s distinctive character through every detail.
Dining and Evening Entertainment
The hotel’s gastronomy offerings include Simonetta, an Italian-inspired mountain trattoria led by Michelin-starred chef Simone Zanoni. Dishes pay homage to Italian Sunday lunches, infused with the vibrancy of world-class dining. Simonetta’s Mediterranean-inspired cuisine infuses traditional Italian flavors with the fresh, lively essences of coastal cooking, creating a unique alpine dining experience.
After dark, guests can visit the hotel’s cocktail and vinyl bar, centered around a fireplace and an evolving record collection. The venue hosts vinyl sessions and serves original cocktails, positioning itself as a prime après-ski destination. The bar’s inviting atmosphere complements the hotel’s curated evening experience.
Bourbon Hotel’s location ensures easy access to Courchevel 1850’s luxury boutiques, fine dining, and nightlife, making it a convenient base for exploring the resort.
Chapitre Six’s Portfolio Expansion
The brand’s portfolio includes Hôtel La Ponche in Saint-Tropez, Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel, and properties in Megève such as Hôtel Monsieur George and Hôtel Saint-Georges. The collection also includes Hôtel Hana and La Folie Barbizon in Megève, further solidifying Chapitre Six’s presence in the French Alps and beyond.
With Bourbon Hotel’s December debut, Chapitre Six solidifies its presence in the French Alps. The upcoming Hotel Cannes in 2027 will further expand the collection, continuing its focus on distinctive destinations that celebrate French art de vivre and authentic hospitality.
