Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas has appointed Sarah Bohn as its new general manager, leveraging over 15 years of expertise in luxury and branded hospitality. Her career includes leadership roles at Westin, Ritz-Carlton, and CIVANA, along with international experience in China, which will help her raise the Arizona property’s service standards while preserving its status as a top destination.

Bohn’s career includes operational leadership across six properties, most recently as hotel manager at Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson. She has also held 13 distinct roles across six different properties, including multiple task force assignments and hotel pre-openings, demonstrating a hands-on approach to hotel management. Her move to Scottsdale follows international experience, including 18 months living and working in Haikou, China, where she adapted service models to local markets.

Fabrizio Poli, the area general manager at Westin La Paloma, praised Bohn’s ability to combine structured luxury service with entrepreneurial flexibility. This aligns with the resort’s commitment to high standards while encouraging innovation.

Beyond her professional background, Bohn grew up in Florida, part of her connection to the American Southwest. She has also completed endurance challenges such as the Camino de Santiago and the 29029 Everesting event, reflecting a resilience she plans to instill in her team. Her approach will blend Ritz-Carlton’s disciplined service culture with the adaptability of wellness-focused properties, a balance critical for Scottsdale’s competitive resort corridor, where guests expect both luxury and personalized service.

The Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas is strategically located along Scottsdale’s resort corridor, offering a mix of accommodations, events, and recreational options. The property features 247 guest rooms and suites, including 45 Villas, each spanning 1,600 square feet, with private terraces, fully equipped kitchens, and complimentary continental breakfast. These Villas also provide access to a dedicated pool area, catering to guests seeking privacy.

The resort’s prime location, just two miles from Old Town Scottsdale, offers easy access to dining, nightlife, art galleries, and golf courses within a 10-minute drive. Its 43,000 square feet of meeting space makes it a favored choice for events, while its three restaurants, BlueFire Grille, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, and the newly opened Salt & Sol, accommodate various culinary preferences. Outdoor amenities include a heated pool and fitness center, ensuring year-round appeal.

For travelers seeking exclusivity, the Villas provide a refined alternative to standard rooms, combining desert-inspired design with residential comforts. Each unit is tailored for extended stays, featuring daily housekeeping and access to a separate pool area from the main resort facilities. The resort’s ability to attract both business and leisure guests, through flexible event spaces and recreational offerings, positions it as a versatile option in a market with seasonal demand fluctuations.
