IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management contract for a 250-room property located in Sixth Settlement, New Cairo. The upcoming Crowne Plaza accommodation is set to launch in the first quarter of 2031.
The lodging will occupy a rapidly developing mixed-use district, catering to East Cairo’s growing business, commercial, and residential sectors. New Cairo has emerged as one of Egypt’s quickest-expanding regions, fueled by infrastructure investment, population growth, and increasing demand from both local and global businesses.

The Crowne Plaza New Cairo will feature a combination of guest rooms and suites, complemented by four dining options, such as an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a bar. The property will also include six meeting and event facilities, comprising meeting rooms and a dedicated ballroom.
