The development features a two-tower design by KPF, offering a new architectural vision for the area. Laurent Kleitman, CEO of Mandarin Oriental, highlighted the brand’s evolution, emphasizing exceptional stays, dining, wellness, and cultural experiences. He noted that the Miami project embodies this transformation, blending the brand’s longstanding connection to Brickell Key with a bold new expression of its future.
The ceremony showcased Mandarin Oriental’s global culinary talent, with dishes and cocktails from its properties in Tokyo, Costa Navarino, Bangkok, Shenzhen, and Vienna. This event created a unique opportunity to experience the brand’s creativity, craftsmanship, and hospitality in one evening, featuring Pizza Omakase-inspired creations, Mediterranean flavors, signature desserts, and expertly crafted cocktails.

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami have seen strong sales, surpassing $1.7 billion. This demand reflects confidence in the project’s vision and the appeal of hospitality-led residential living associated with the Mandarin Oriental brand. Tim Blackburn, CEO of Swire Properties, noted the project’s differentiated value in South Florida’s luxury market, driven by its waterfront location, the development team’s track record, and world-class design partners. He emphasized that the new marks another important milestone in Swire Properties’ long-term vision for Brickell Key.

It joins a growing portfolio of Mandarin Oriental Residences, with 16 in operation and 20 more set to open by 2031. Upcoming projects include locations in Kanai, Riviera Maya, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, and West Palm Beach, further expanding the brand’s global reach.
This development is part of Mandarin Oriental’s expansion, with new hotels and residences opening in Mallorca and Vienna in 2026, followed by Rome and Cortina in 2027.
